We exist to ensure that the Greater Manchester Integrated Care System can resolve macro GM healthcare issues with a single organisation which can afford appropriate economies of scale with specialist locality knowledge and experience. We retain our local sovereign entities- Bardoc, gtd healthcare, Mastercall Healthcare, and Salford Primary Care Together & Wigan GP Alliance – but combine for areas of macro economic benefit and quality. The focus of the partnership is and always has been to improve patient outcomes, enhancing the lives of residents of GM which it has done exponentially, year on year.
On the celebration of our 5th anniversary the Greater Manchester Urgent Primary Care Alliance is offering further macro integration to help:

– Establish best in class Urgent Primary Care principles of deliverys
The Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) involves patients receiving a clinical triage/telephone post non-clinical call handling/algorithmic outcome via NHS111/ 111 online or 999.
Dispositions include:
Low acuity ambulance (cat 3 and 4)
Advised to attend ED outcomes/ETC outcomes.
This dental helpline offers urgent dental care for patients across Greater Manchester.
It is accessed via the dental helpline from 8am to 10pm every day, including weekends and bank holidays and is availab le to anyone living in GM who does not have a dentist or whose dentist is closed.
This service is the GMUPCA direct booking and single EPR platform.
This has been rolled out to every hospital emergency department in Manchester meaning cases can be sent from 999, 111 or 111 online into the Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) to be assessed.
