The Greater Manchester Urgent Primary Care Alliance was delighted to be a finalist for ‘Best Partnership’ at the Urgent Health UK Awards 2023.
This is great recognition of our collaborative work, recognising how we are pioneering change in Urgent Primary Care across Greater Manchester.
The awards took place at Chesford Grange Hotel in Kenilworth on 31st October and was attended by UHUK members all coming together to celebrate excellence, innovation and collaboration in Urgent and Integrated Health Care.
UHUK is a partnership of urgent and integrated healthcare social enterprise providers who cover 64% of the UK population. There are currently 24 UHUK member organisations all of whom play a vital role in delivering and sustaining care across the health and care system.
All UHUK member organisations follow social enterprise principles, meaning any surpluses
are reinvested into services or communities.
Every year UHUK members see and treat millions of patients right around the UK who would otherwise call an ambulance, go to A&E, or visit their GP. This frees up these services for people who need them most and allows for limited resources to be redirected back into other health and care services.
“Urgent and integrated healthcare services are vital to addressing wider challenges facing the NHS by ensuring valuable resources are used correctly – getting people the best health outcome and safeguarding services for those with life-threatening emergencies
The annual conference,” UHUK CEO Conor Burke said.
Mastercall Healthcare and Salford Primary Care Together are both members of UHUK.
